Inspired and navigating his own coming-of-age, Rohin writes to make sense of the changing world around him. At 18 he moved on his own to Toronto to focus on songwriting and music. He spent his first couple of years writing in any studio and with countless collaborators to explore and find his voice. By 2024 he has written everywhere from log cabins in northern Canada to New York City in an effort to create his best and most authentic songs. Inspired by the British rock scene, and by the synths found in ambient electric rock, he has found himself in a nostalgic and dark yet hopeful sound. His lyrics explore themes of existentialism, loneliness, hedonism, and the highs and lows along the path of becoming. Part 1 of his debut EP “so follow me down” hits like the neon lights and nostalgia of a coming of age film. This collection of expansive, yet intimate songs arrives this spring and makes for a breathtaking introduction to Rohin.
